WordCamp Gliwice 2024: New technologies and community at BosPal
On April 13-14, 2024, I had the pleasure of representing BosPal at the WordCamp Gliwice 2024 conference. As the person responsible for running our website on WordPress, my goal was to learn about new trends and explore best practices in content management and web technologies.
Why was WordCamp important to us?
Attending industry IT conferences, such as WordCamp, allows us to acquire new skills necessary to continuously improve our website. Through active participation in workshops and thematic sessions, we gain up-to-date knowledge to guide and expand our service in accordance with best practices. This, in turn, translates into an increase in the quality of the experience of its visitors (known as UX – user experience).
Our commitment to the community and the environment
Participation in WordCamp Gliwice 2024 was not only an opportunity for us to learn, but also to show how much we value the development of the WordPress community in Poland.
In addition, the networking that took place during the conference allowed new business contacts to be made with other professionals and allowed valuable experiences to be exchanged.
Moreover, our participation in the event allowed us to support a local environmental initiative, as one tree was planted for each ticket purchased. This is a simple but important form of expression of our pro-environmental values.
